We are currently seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team and prepare us for the next level of growth for our organization.
Job Summary: As the Director of Operations at Just Qin BBQ, you will oversee all aspects of our restaurant's daily operations. Your responsibilities will include managing labor cost and staffing levels, ensuring “uncommon service”, maintaining quality and safety standards, and optimizing restaurant efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Management:
- Recruit and hire, restaurant team.
- Provide leadership and direction to the team, fostering a positive work environment.
- Manage labor cost and staffing levels.
- Uncommon Guest Service:
- Ensure exceptional guests service at all times, managing the system of guest experience
- Monitor and maintain high food quality standards, presentation, and portion control.
- Implement strategies to enhance the overall guest experience.
- Inventory and Supply Management:
- Oversee inventory control, including ordering, receiving, and monitoring supplies.
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries.
- Manage inventory levels to minimize waste and control costs.
- Quality and Safety Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections of the restaurant to maintain cleanliness and safety.
- Implement and enforce health and safety policies.
- Financial Management:
- Monitor and manage the restaurant's financial performance, including budgeting and cost control.
- Track sales, expenses, and profitability, and identify areas for improvement.
- Work closely with the restaurant owner or management team to achieve financial goals.
- Operational Efficiency:
- Streamline restaurant processes to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks and challenges.
- Implement and enforce standard operating procedures.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in restaurant management and operations, with a minimum of [6] years of experience.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Knowledge of restaurant software and POS systems.
- Understanding of financial management and budgeting.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and food handling standards.
